Wilson Chandomba is a passionate advocate for access to affordable, quality, safe, and efficacious medicines for all communities, including those in hard-to-reach areas. With over 26 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry across Sub-Saharan Africa, Wilson has dedicated his career to strengthening health supply chain systems and promoting adherence to Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP).


As the Founder and Managing Consultant of CMCOMMS Supply Chain Quality Assurance, Wilson has designed and implemented the acclaimed CMCOMMS Medical Logistics Practitioner Training Program. This program, recognized by leading regulatory bodies such as the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe, The CPD Group UK, The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Seal, and the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (a WHO Maturity Level 3 regulatory authority), equips professionals with critical skills in supply chain management and Good Storage & Distribution Practices. .


Wilson’s commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of medical products has been instrumental in enhancing supply chain integrity from procurement to last-mile delivery. He emphasizes the critical role of stakeholders at every stage of the supply chain in maintaining the physical integrity and safety of medical products, particularly during transit.


In 2024, Wilson’s expertise was globally recognized when he was appointed as a Coalition Member of People that Deliver (PtD), the global technical leader in human resources for health supply chain management. As an Accredited Implementing Partner of the PtD Strategic Training Executive Program (STEP 2.0), Wilson actively advocates for the professionalization of supply chain roles in low- to middle-income countries.


Further solidifying his influence, Wilson was appointed as the Regional Lead for Southern Africa by the International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL)  in 2024. He also champions VCare Academy certification programs across Africa, focusing on advancing health and humanitarian supply chain capabilities.


Wilson’s extensive work experience spans a wide range of areas, including regulatory compliance, product registration, regulatory audits, procurement, customs handling, imports and exports, freight forwarding, inventory management, quality assurance, manufacturing, downstream distribution, and last-mile delivery.
