Paul Farrell is the Founder of Supply Chain Planning.ie, a consultancy and training practice focused on enabling organizations to build supply chain capability and deliver measurable business impact. A Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL), he combines over 15 years of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and foodservice with deep expertise in planning, transformation, and capability development.
Paul has held senior roles driving supply chain transformation, including leading advanced planning deployments at Kerry Group and a global Kinaxis RapidResponse program at Mylan/Viatris. Through Supply Chain Planning.ie, he has partnered with multinational and SME clients to strengthen Sales & Operations Planning, optimize inventories, improve resilience, and embed digital supply chain practices.
He is a certified professional in multiple global standards, including CPIM and CTSC from ASCM, Certified SCOR-DS Instructor, CSCA from ISCEA, and CMILT with the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Ireland. Academically, he holds a BComm and MBS from University College Dublin (UCD), along with an MBA from Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
Paul is an active contributor to the Irish supply chain community and a regular conference speaker on topics including resilience, sustainability, and flow-based transformation. His passion is connecting supply chain performance directly to strategic business outcomes, ensuring that improvement work delivers lasting competitive advantage & that supply chain professionals make a positive impact.
